THE STORY BEHIND THE PACKS

One great dream.
A crew that stays.

Luffy dreams of becoming King of the Pirates. With the Straw Hats, he sails through a world of islands, rivals and friendships. Eiichiro Oda's One Piece captures that feeling: another adventure is always waiting beyond the horizon.

In 2022, this world came to the tabletop. In ONE PIECE CARD GAME, you build a crew around your Leader and face other players. Or collect the characters, artwork and sealed products that tell your own story.

About the timeline · Sources & updates

This timeline combines Bandai's English catalogue with documented retailer and distributor announcements. Entries not confirmed by Bandai are labelled “Announced by retailers”; their dates are provisional. A trade date passing does not confirm a release. Where no verified product image is available, we show the set code. Singles, individual packs from booster boxes, tournament prize packs and accessories without cards are outside this overview.

Regional special editions are identified. Month-only dates remain months; missing dates are not estimated. For Premium Bandai, we show the stated shipping period and region. Event dates and other dates refer to the named English release market. Announced dates may change. Editorially checked on 23 October 2026. Shop offers are read from Friends when the page loads; the offer on the product page is authoritative.

The basics: Bandai · Getting started

OP-01 print editions: CardTrader · Print guide · Blue Bottom / White Bottom · Bandai · Errata and packaging

Product images come from the respective manufacturers, Cardmarket or existing Friends product media. Both OP-01 editions share an open-box image; their names and offer bindings keep the printings separate. Remaining SAMPLE images are labelled manufacturer previews and do not indicate product availability. The Friends island illustration is editorial artwork.
